High Desert Racing Assn. (HDRA) has been turned as part of SCORE and was a professional off-road racing organization based in Las Vegas, NV. HDRA currently sanctions off-road racing events in both Nevada and California. Their schedule includes five races ranging from 10-12 mile multi-lap DesertCross courses all the way to a 500-mile long distance cross-country desert race.

High Desert Racing Assn. was founded by Walt Lott in the mid- 70’s, and soon became one of the premier off-road sanctioning bodies in the sport. After Mr. Lott’s untimely passing, the organization underwent several transitions and faded from the desert racing scene in the 90’s.

HDRA was re-introduced to the desert racing scene in late 2011 by long time desert racing enthusiasts Roger Norman, Robert Gross and Ken Flippin. Together with a core group of other experienced desert racing personnel, HDRA is committed to move desert racing to new dimensions. Their focus is desert racing FOR RACERS… BY RACERS.

2015 SCORE World Desert Championship

29th Bud Light SCORE San Felipe 250, Jan. 22-25 in San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico.

Inaugural Bud Light SCORE Baja Sur 500 on April 16-19.

Marking the first time a SCORE Baja race has been held entirely in Baja California Sur, it will be a point-to-point race starting in Cabo San Lucas on the southern tip of Baja and finishing in Loreto on the east side of the peninsula along the Sea of Cortez.

47th Bud Light SCORE Baja 500, June 4-7, in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.

3rd Bud Light SCORE Imperial Valley 250, Sept. 24-27 in Plaster City, Calif., USA

48th Bud Light SCORE Baja 1000, Nov. 18-21.

The most recognized name of all desert races, it will start and finish in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.
